Department of Physical and Organic Chemistry comprises Laboratory of Physical Chemistry and Laboratory of Organic and Bioorganic Chemistry. Basic research of the department is focused on the experimental and theoretical study of various physico-chemical processes at surfaces and in atmospheric chemistry. The main attention in the field of organic chemistry is directed to the halogenated, in particular fluorinated, organic molecules.
