SPECIFIC RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THE INSTITUTE
- Wipe surfaces, such as door handles, counter tops, telephones, that are touched by many people using a disinfectant or other similar product (which can also be purchased by the departments themselves).
- Postpone trips abroad that are not essential. Currently, travel to Italy, South Korea, China, and Iran is strongly discouraged. This information is provided by the competent ministries.
- Reschedule visits from abroad if possible. Pay attention to the health of the visitor. Follow the instructions of the National Institute of Public Health if any signs of infection appear.
- Do not organize major events (over 100 people) or attend such events outside the Institute.
- In the case of smaller events, record attendees, and keep at least 1 metre away from each other.
- Organize your meetings via electronic media whenever you can.
- During breaks (at coffee, lunch, etc.), do not stay in the company of co-workers or visitors who are not certain to be free of the virus, keeping at a distance of at least one metre and where the area is not adequately ventilated.
- Enter the institute's restaurant individually, try to keep a safe distance. Wash your hands before and after visiting the restaurant. If you have the opportunity, bring your own lunch from home and stay in your office.
- If possible, organize your commute to avoid overcrowded public transport. If that is not possible, wash your hands immediately when entering the Institute. Do the same when leaving the Institute for a short period, e.g., during lunch or when attending meetings.
- Consult with the Head of Department on any other issues.
- ALL WORKERS OF THE INSTITUTE ARE REQUIRED TO WORK FROM HOME. |
